The Goals feature in Wazo allows employees to create, track, and manage personal and professional goals within the platform. Goals can represent individual objectives, team targets, learning milestones, or project deliverables — all aligned with career development and organizational growth.

Each goal typically includes a goal title, description, target completion date, and progress status. The Goals page offers a timeline view, making it easy for users to monitor both upcoming and completed goals at a glance. Wazo’s approach to goals is simple, clear, and action-driven — supporting a culture of accountability and achievement.

How it Helps

The Goals feature gives employees a clear sense of direction by providing visibility into what they are working toward. With defined objectives in place, individuals can focus their efforts and stay aligned with team priorities.

Meanwhile, their manager can view progress updates during regular check-ins, offering support or adjustments if needed. When completed, the goal remains on the timeline — a permanent record of achievement for career growth discussions.

User Guide

The Goals Page in Wazo is your personal dashboard designed to help you create, manage, and track progress on both professional and personal goals. It provides a focused space where your objectives become visible and measurable, keeping you motivated and accountable throughout your journey.

To access the Goals Page, navigate to the Goals section from your main dashboard or your employee profile. This section displays a comprehensive list of your current, upcoming, and completed goals, giving you a clear picture of your overall progress.

At the top of the page, you’ll find a "Create Goal" button that allows you to quickly add a new goal. You can also use filter tags based on topics such as Programming, Quality, Compliance, and more. These filters help you categorize and sort your goals according to specific themes or focus areas.

In the central area of the page, a detailed goal table presents essential information for each goal. This includes the title, target date, the number of days left until the deadline, and a progress bar that visually indicates how close you are to completion. An actions menu (represented by three dots) is available for each goal, allowing you to edit or update it as needed.

On the right side of the page, you’ll find helpful summary widgets. The Total Goals section displays the number of goals that are currently pending or have been completed. The Progress Percentage provides a quick snapshot of your overall completion rate across all goals. Additionally, the Upcoming Goals timeline highlights your nearest due dates, helping you stay ahead of your priorities.

Wazo’s Goals Page is designed to support a goal-driven culture by making goal-setting intuitive, tracking progress effortless, and success more achievable.

How to Use

Create a Goal: Click on the Create Goal button. Add a title, description, due date, and initial status. You can also assign a relevant tag for easier filtering later.
Update Progress: As you work toward your goals, update the progress bar by editing the goal from the Action menu.
Monitor Deadlines: Watch the Days Left column to manage your priorities — goals close to their deadlines appear higher in urgency.
Track Overall Progress: Use the Progress Percentage to gauge how balanced your workload and goal achievement rate are over time.
Use Tags for Focus: Filter goals by category tags (like Compliance or Programming) to zero in on specific objectives.
